A custom domain to your RefinedSite

With Refined for JIRA Cloud you can get your own custom domain for your support portal, making the experience tailor made for your customers and not leaving them wondering if they are in the right place. Your users can access your portal via the domain/URL of your choice.

Setting up a Refined site directed to your custom domain

Prerequisites: You need to have your custom domain ready before you start the process below.

Go to JIRA Administration > Refined Configuration.

Click on Sites, then the site you want to edit.

If you can't see this page in Jira, please reach out to us at support.refinedwiki.com.

You can also use the shortcut on the portal to see this page.

For the site setup, stay on the Configuration page to edit the Custom Domain.

You'll need your own domain ready, and once you have it, click the edit button, enter the custom domain and save.

Well, working with DNS and domains, it may take a while until the internet knows about this new setup, but once it does you are ready to go and you can access your RefinedSite from your custom domain.

While you're waiting for the DNS update the site indicator is yellow. As soon as it changes to green, you can access your new site.

You can still access some content and settings in the admin UI, this means that you can start creating themes and links while waiting for the DNS update.
